1Do I have to pay to get an estimate
No credit card needed to submit quote for an estimate. You may not place an order on-line. Prices are for on-line estimates only. Restrictions apply. Prices may vary due to quantity, date & availability. Delivery and pickup charges are not included in your quote. We Deliver and Pick Up 24 hours a day 7 days a week $$$.
2Are the prices on the website accurate and for all types of customers?
Yes, our team constantly adds new products and removes outdated products. We adjust pricing and inventory to be as accurate as possible. In addition to that we service everyone from all industries and everyone pays the same competitive low price. Be sure to call or email if you have long term rentals needs or large orders for special pricing.
3How can I find the price of a couple of items quickly?
The quickest way to find an item or 2 would be the "search" button located at the top of Home Page and at the top of the Shop Pages. However, like all websites if you don't type the item exactly the same way it's display on the website or if you have a different name for the item, even by 1 letter you will get "No Results". That's why you must check out our Glossary!
The Glossary is fantastic! It lists all our items in alphabetical order in every name we could think of by all professions, industries and non professional customers. Simply click on the link and it will take you to the item's page.
4Why should I use the Glossary?
The Glossary is one of the most important tools available to you on our website. For example; a Product can have 5 different names and if you go to the glossary you can see all the different terminology, a picture of the product, and the link to it's shop page for that product and all the other styles and colors it comes in.
5Why when I hover over Products on the Navigation Bar I only get a drop down option?
When you hover over Products the drop down will quickly offer you our most wanted and requested items. You should do this only when you know exactly what you need and are familiar with our website. Otherwise go ahead and click on products to get to the Shop Page. Another option is to click on the big Red Shop Button at the far end of the Navigation Bar on the right hand side that will also get you to the Shop Page.
6How can I pay for my order on-line?
You cant pay for your order on line. You can if you would like from the Home Page scroll to the bottom on the left hand side after you pass the search bar, select CC Form PDF and download your form to submit for payment. Remember you must receive an invoice and rental agreement before your quote is an order with the delivery fee added. You can not get a delivery fee on line.
7Credit Card Form PDF
We Accept Credit Cards Visa, Mastercard, Amex and all Banking Debit Cards. We will send you a Credit Card Form PDF or you can Download one from the site under CC Form PDF
8After my shopping cart is filled
After you have placed all the items in your cart, on the top left side of your screen it will say "Get Quote" and it will lead you a form that you must fill out. The billing side is simple info we need in case we have a question and need to contact you. No credit card or personal info is asked or required. On the delivery side we need you to be precise in order to give to an exact delivery charge. You must check the box that asks if you agree to our rental policy. You can find the rental policy on the navigation bar. Once you submit the form by pushing Get Quote you will get a confirmation that says your order has been received. IT IS NOT AN ORDER IT IS A QUOTE.
9Are all the items by the piece?
Yes, even if the picture shows 4 chairs or a set of flatware, the price is for 1 piece. At New York Party Rentals you never have to order in quantities you don't need.
10How long will it take for someone to get back to me?
Usually immediately but not always depends on when you have submitted your quote. We definitely will respond within an hour or two. If you need or want your quote immediately and have to get the quote to a client or committee and don't have time to wait... Call us. We always answer with a person not an answering machine or robot not even with a person who cant help you with any and all questions.
General Rental Questions
1Is the only way to get a quote on-line?
No, we love speaking with you on the phone. Call anytime and a rental specialist will answer your call to give you a quote and assist you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We do make getting a quote easy and hassle free. No signing in, no commitments, no passwords, no credit card! It's easy to navigate and you can see all our products with the prices in different colors and style options. If you cant find a product go to the navigation bar and visit our glossary. Sometimes items have different names and our glossary is full of information. The links will take you directly to the items.
2How do I confirm my on-line quote?
Your on-line quote is only a confirmed order when you have signed the rental agreement and returned the credit card form that is provided to you after you agree to the total price that includes the delivery charge. The delivery charge is not included in your on-line quote.
3Can you do next day orders?
Absolutely! as long as there is availability for the products you want. We have such a large inventory in many different styles there is sure to be something you can substitute with if we are out of stock on a particular item you need.
4The price on the website is for how long?
Prices are for a 1 day rental. inquire for extended rental options
5How much time is needed to place an order?
It all depends, as long as the products are available 1day notice usually is enough time, same day too…if you’re willing to pay same day rush delivery charges. At least 1 week – 4 days is best and most appropriate.
6What is considered a one-day rental?
The day of your event. If we delivery the day before and pick up the day after your event that is one rental. If your event is on the weekend we will deliver on Friday and pick up on Monday, that is 1 rental.
7What if I want to rent for an extended time?
Special pricing is offered. Call us with specifics
8Do you service my area?
Yes, as long as it is in the State of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. However, any area including some boroughs outside of New York City may have minimums and also some restrictions and special pricing, its best to inquire with details.
9Is there a minimum required to service my area?
As long as your event is in New York City and we may deliver Monday thru Friday 10am to 3pm there is never a minimum, only a delivery charge.
10What is your cancellation policy?
Once we receive your credit card form there is no cancellation refund.
11What happens if I break something?
You are responsible for any breakage and/or missing items and you must pay the replacement cost. You cannot replace the broken item with another item. The replacement cost is assessed by management. See "Security Deposit and Incidentals" in our Rental Policy for more details
12What happens if it is delivered broken?
If you have discovered something is broken and the driver is gone, you should take a quick picture and send an email stating so before the event. Otherwise, you could be held responsible. Unfortunately, things like this happen and we try to avoid them at all costs and if it is an item detrimental for your event, we will do everything we can to get you a replacement. We cannot guarantee that we can get a new item there but we can guarantee that we will try.
13Can I get credit for unused items?
No, sorry
14Do I have to wash the dirty rentals, including glasses plates, tablecloths, etc.?
Nope! The beauty of renting. Simply scrape unwanted food or liquid from plates and glasses and place back in the proper crates they were delivered in.
15Can I Wrap Bars and Podiums
Yes. Any modifications such as wrapping or signage must be removed before we pick up our Portable Bars and Podiums. They must be prepared for pick up in the same manner they were delivered to avoid additional fees and/or replacement costs.
Delivery & Pick Up Questions
1Delivery and pick up
We Deliver 24 hours a day 7 days a week $$. Remember Never a Minimum for New York City. For the lowest delivery fee is Monday - Friday window between 10am-3pm Meaning we will arrive time between that window for weekend we will delivered on Friday and pick up on Monday window between 10am-3pm Meaning we will arrive time between that window. Friday to Monday is considered only one day rental
2How much is the delivery charge?
Three factors are considered to achieve the delivery and pick-up charges. When you need it. Where the venue is located. The amount of your order. Please keep in mind our premiere delivery service is made with our professionally trained exceptional team of drivers and helpers. It is like getting a furniture or appliance delivery twice! It’s not like getting an Uber Eats, Grubhub or Chinese Food delivery.
3Does some one have to be there for the Delivery?
Yes. Someone over the age of 18 must be there to receive the delivery and to give the driver a signature your building's doorman is OK.
4Do I have to tip the delivery men?
Gratuities are not included in your delivery fee. However, our drivers always accept and appreciate a tip.
5Where is your warehouse located?
Our main warehouse is in Irvington, New Jersey.
6Can I pick up my order from your warehouse?
In most cases we do not offer self-pick up or return service for several reasons, the most prominent reason is that we only want to transport our equipment ourselves by our trained staff. It’s how we keep our highly maintain equipment looking awesome!
In cases where we do offer self pick up the time and day must be predetermined and there is a $500.00 Service Fee for Monday-Friday. Weekends or Emergency situations and any special times are available call us to make arrangements.
Production Companies on the other hand need, flexibility for receiving and returning equipment so there are always exceptions depending on when what items, so just make an inquiry and we will always try to assist you.
7Do you have insurance to provide my building with a COI?
Yes. If your building requires a Certificate of Insurance and your order is over $500.00 before the delivery fees there is no charge. If your order is under $500.00 as small fee of $50.00 is added to the order. It usually takes 24 – 48 hours to get the certificate from our broker. So please have your building’s Management send the template or sample to us immediately, especially for those rush orders!
8Will the Delivery Men bring rental equipment into my apartment?
Yes. Our Delivery Men will not enter the apartment without an escort or someone home
9Do you set up and/or breakdown the equipment?
Sure do. The delivery fee that you are quoted is for our team to bring your rentals inside your home or venue and placed it inside your requested area. Set up and breakdown is not included in that price. Prior notification is needed for us to set up tables and chairs, pipe and drape, etc. Our beautiful folding chairs are delivered in canvas bags for their protection, unless prior notice is requested you are responsible to take them out of the bags and have them properly put back in the bags ready for pick up. Every order is different so there is not a set price please inquire with details of your needs for a set up and/or breakdown price.
10Is there an additional charge for steps?
Yes, there is and, in most cases, we do not let the customer bring rentals up and/or down steps. It’s all about maintaining exceptional quality. The delivery fee is based on ground floor delivery or access to an elevator. In addition to steps there is also an extra fee if the equipment must be carried an excessive distance. In cases where there were no prior notification excessive charges or even the cancellation of your order may occur with no refund.
11When do you deliver? What are the hours?
We deliver Monday thru Friday 10am to 5pm. That means we arrive anytime in that window, same for the pickup. White glove and timed service is always available, we deliver 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Meaning we can deliver any time or any day you need simply provide us with the details for your specialized quote.
12Do I need to be at the venue for the pick up?
No. The person who ordered the rentals does not need to be there but an adult over the age of 18 years old must be there to check and sign the packing slip. You are responsible for missing items.

14What Happens if all the items are not there when your team comes to pick up?
Customers are not able to return rentals to any of our locations. New York Party Rentals only delivers and picks up to the address provided on our contract. After the event it is the customer’s responsibility to have everything packed and ready for pick up at the contracted date on the rental agreement. If no one is at the location when we arrive to pick up we will leave and only return for an additional charge see below for charges
It is pertinent that we retrieve all our items on time and in the same condition you received them. Some items may be needed to turn around for another party and you will be billed at OUR replacement cost and you will not be able to return the item or items at all.
Our team will not search your home or venue or attempt to look for rentals. It is your responsibility to make sure everything is accounted for. When our team arrives and there are items missing, we will wait for you to attempt to retrieve the items, however a wait charge will begin after 15 minutes.
The customer will get charged for every day we do not get the rental equipment back. NYPR will try to return in a timely manner; but there is no guarantee that a truck will be in that area the following day. You will have to pay for a special truck and another day's rental.
If you choose not to pay for a special truck you will be charged a full day's rental for everyday we don’t have the equipment. We do not go back the same day to pick up missing items or do partial pickups without an additional fee.
New York Party Rentals will determine the fee. Orders or items that are recovered that were missing from the original scheduled pick up may be returned by the customer by appointment only and billed for everyday after the contracted date plus an additional warehouse fee depending on the items.
Only NYPR can determine the fee. The fee will be determined by type of item, amount of items and difficulty to receive items, location for return, Date and Time.
15What to expect when my delivery arrives
For delivery; NYPR will only deliver all the rented equipment in one area to the address and floor that is on the invoice/contract. For pickup; when the event it is over it is the customer’s responsibility to have everything packed and ready in one area on the contracted date on the rental agreement. If the rental equipment is not packed and ready for pickup in one area and NYPR has to go on different floors and locations to retrieve the rental equipment, there will be an additional fee and only NYPR will determine that fee. By accepting delivery you agree to allow NYPR to use the credit card for the additional charge.

1Can I pay on line?
No. You must sign a rental agreement and fill out a credit card form.
2Do you offer credit for terms and/or purchase orders?

3Do you accept purchase orders?

4Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a security deposit of $300.00 will be held on your card in addition to charging the full amount of your invoice. Your $300.00 security deposit will be returned to your card after we have picked up the rentals and there are no incidentals. 5How does the deposit work?
Your deposit does not reserve goods or services, only a full nonrefundable payment can do that. The deposit you leave with us is for equipment replacement costs and unforeseen labor expenses.
6My organization or event is tax exempt how can I avoid paying sales tax?
We welcome all NJ and NYS current year tax exempt certificates including ST-119 and ST-120. 501C only exempts you from federal tax and not state tax so unfortunately we can't accept those certificates. All tax exempt certificate must be presented before we charge your credit card and we will not be able to refund the sales tax payment once you order has been processed
